CARTER D. WOMACKCarter D. Womack

Carter Womack was elected and served as Akron City Council’s representative to Ward 4 from 1984 to 1987. He has worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as the Equal Employment Officer and Diversity Initiatives, Rider Systems as Director of Human Relations and Blockbuster Video as Vice President for Human Relations. He was Senior Vice President for Sales for The Black Magazine and Executive Vice President for Human Resources for Value City Department Stores, Inc.

Mr. Womack is currently President and CEO of Leadership At Its Best, a Columbus, Ohio based company providing leadership and development training, strategy and planning to corporations as well as business leadership and development training for university students, students in public school districts and strategic planning for non-profit organizations.

Carter Womack is active in his community through the NAACP, the National Alliance of Business Youth Motivational Task Force, the Urban League, United States Jaycees and the Alabama A&M University Foundation.
