NEIGHBORS DAY
Akron residents are being asked to take a few hours on Saturday, May 26 to be a part of Neighbors Day Akron.
Our theme is "Living Together Better."
Neighbors Day is helping us create a safer, more closely knit community, and a healthier environment for children to live and learn.
To be a part of the 6th Annual Neighbors Day Akron celebration, Call, 3-1-1 or (330) 375-2311, the City of Akron’s Information Center, to find out where to pick up your Neighbors Day kit or visit our special website at: NeighborsDayAkron.org.
The kit is designed to help you get started and will provide you with useful tips on how to make your Neighbors Day Akron event both successful and safe.

Curb service is delayed one day this week because of the Memorial Day holiday.

Cascade Village 2nd Annual Community Day - 9:00:00 AM
Free and open to all Cascade Village Neighbors and the surrounding community; including downtown Akron and the greater Summit County. The event begins with a walk around the neighborhood with local business and government leaders starting at 10:00AM. The walk concludes at the Community Center around 11:00AM. The event will include free food and music, bounce houses and games for the kids and resources to keep you connected and informed on topics including health & wellness, financial information, educational support and so much more!
Resource booths: Akron Children’s Hospital, Akron-Summit Co. Public Library, Akron Public Schools / PTA , Akron Summit Community Action, Inc., Akron Zoo, Alliance for a Healthy Youth, American Heart Association, Buckeye Community Health Plan, CareSource, Color Line Project, DKMS - Bone Marrow Donor Registration, Downtown Akron Partnership, Earth Fare, Mature Services, Metro Parks of Summit Co, METRO RTA, Minority Behavioral Health Group, Mobile Meals, Inc, Planned Parenthood, PNC Bank, Rhoden Funeral Homes, RX Home Healthcare Services, Summit Co. Public Health, United Way of Summit Co., University of Akron, University Park YMCA, Visiting Nurses Services and Affiliates, Youth Excellence Performing Arts Workshop.

delayed ONE day (unless otherwise noted in the schedule above):
