LIEUTENANT MICHAEL H. PARK began his
career with the City of Akron as a Firefighter/Medic on June 6, 1976. He was promoted to
his present rank of Fire Lieutenant on June 13, 1986. LT. PARK is currently
assigned to the Fire Prevention Bureau where he has served for the last six years. He is a
state certified Fire Inspector and works with individuals and businesses to create safe
environments and correct deficiencies. He also does the majority of the Fire departments
plans review for proposed new and renovated buildings.
MIKE and his wife Mary are the proud parents of two sons, Mike and Jim. He
enjoys golfing, hiking, gardening and traveling.
LT. PARK has a positive attitude and a willingness to share his expertise that
is welcomed and appreciated by those who work with him both from within and outside of our
organization.
MIKE’S attention to detail, knowledge and experience contribute to a safe
environment for those who live and work in the City of Akron and make him an asset to our
department.
