| GARY HAHN began his career with the
City of Akron Sewer Maintenance Division as a Seasonal Sewer Maintenance Worker I on June
11, 1977. He became a full-time Sewer Maintenance Worker I on October 17, 1977; and on
July 5, 1983, Gary was promoted to Sewer Service Worker. On April 1, 1996 he was promoted
to his current position of Sewer Maintenance Foreman. GARY is responsible for the maintenance of Akrons sewer system, from
routine maintenance to emergency situations. His willingness to respond anytime, anywhere,
and in any weather, makes him an invaluable asset to the citizens and the City of Akron.
He shows up on job sites with a can do attitude, and his willingness to stick
with it until the job is complete makes him the best of the best. As a foreman, his crew
respects and follows his lead.
In his spare time, GARY enjoys fishing on Lake Erie
and he is a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
GARY and his wife, Bonnie, have three children and
five grandchildren, the latest additions being twin granddaughters. |
