THOMAS BRUNNER

Thomas with Mayor Plusquellic

THOMAS BRUNNER began his career with the City of Akron Water Pollution Control Division as a Seasonal Treatment Plant Utility Worker in 1987. He was then made a permanent Treatment Plant Utility Worker a year later. TOM was promoted to his current position of Treatment Plant Mechanic on January 22, 1995. Prior to working for the city of Akron, he worked for AM International as a Technical Representative repairing offset printing presses.

MR. BRUNNER is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing treatment plant equipment including pumps, blowers, collectors, and drives. He is willing to take on complex maintenance tasks and is very self-directed requiring little supervisory oversight. TOM appreciates the assistance of his co-workers in his daily tasks.

THOMAS married his wife, Wendy in June of 2006. They have six girls between them ranging in age from twenty-nine to nine-year old twins. He resides in northwest Akron and enjoys camping, hiking, and biking in his spare time.

TOM is an asset to the Water Pollution Control division as well as the city of Akron.
