THOMAS BRUNNER began his career with
the City of Akron Water Pollution Control Division as a Seasonal Treatment Plant Utility
Worker in 1987. He was then made a permanent Treatment Plant Utility Worker a year later. TOM
was promoted to his current position of Treatment Plant Mechanic on January 22, 1995.
Prior to working for the city of Akron, he worked for AM International as a Technical
Representative repairing offset printing presses.MR. BRUNNER is responsible for
troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing treatment plant equipment including pumps,
blowers, collectors, and drives. He is willing to take on complex maintenance tasks and is
very self-directed requiring little supervisory oversight. TOM appreciates the
assistance of his co-workers in his daily tasks.
THOMAS married his wife, Wendy in June of 2006. They have six girls between them
ranging in age from twenty-nine to nine-year old twins. He resides in northwest Akron and
enjoys camping, hiking, and biking in his spare time.
TOM is an asset to the Water Pollution Control division as well as the city of
Akron.
