| DAWN STIGGERS-FERGUSON began her career
with the City of Akron Recreation Bureau as a seasonal in June 1970 at Robinson School and
Homestead Park during the summer. She went to work for Goodyear and returned once again in
1980 with the CETA Program at Patterson Park Community Center. She continued as a seasonal
until her promotion of Recreation Supervisor II on February 9, 1998 at Elizabeth Park
Community Center and then to her current position of District Supervisor on January 24,
2000. Dawn attended East High School and then went to Ohio University as well as the
University of Akron. Dawn lives in Goodyear Heights with her husband Kent. She has a son,
Curtis.
Dawn enjoys reading mysteries and spending time on the Board of Say Yes to Tennis and
being the East Director of Pee Wee Football which she has been involved in for over thirty
years.
