| ANDRE MOORE began his career with the City of
Akron in August, 1995, as a Police Officer. In April of 2001 he was assigned to Platoon
#5, the Noon to 8pm shift. During that time he as received numerous commendations from his
supervisors, fellow officers and citizens. He is also the recipient of Platoon #5s
prestigious "Coat of Arms" award, given only to select officers who are of the
highest caliber. OFFICER MOORE regularly generates some of the highest totals of any
officer on the shift in all rating categories including felony and misdemeanor arrests,
citations, reports taken and calls for service answered. |

In his spare time, ANDRE enjoys sports, billiards, video games and travel. He is also a
longtime member of the Airforce Reserve.ANDRE is
well respected by his supervisors and fellow officers for his positive attitude, work
ethic, and his team player approach to his job. He was a nominated for Russ Long
"Officer of the Year" award
ANDRE is a credit to his department and those around him. |
