| MIKE HUDIK began his career with the City of
Akron on July 17, 1975 as a seasonal Engineering Aide II. On November 1, 1975 he became a
permanent Engineering Aide I. He has been an Engineering Aide II, Engineering Aide III,
Survey Projects Chief, Engineering Technician II, Surveyor and his current position is
Survey Projects Supervisor. MIKE has three children
and has enjoyed coaching youth sports for 14 years, including baseball, softball,
basketball and soccer. He enjoys all sports, especially golf. |

MIKE oversees the work of the survey section and takes an active role in fieldwork.
Recently, MIKE and his crew provided critical survey information needed to replace the
rear drive at fire station #8. In 1995, he and a crewmember removed a fallen tree from
Akron-Peninsula Road to keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely. In addition to providing
surveys needed by the Engineering Bureau to construct public improvement projects, MIKE
also fulfills requests from Economic Development, Planning and the Law Department. MIKE is very professional in his work and in the manner in which he
conducts himself with the public. He has gone above and beyond to make our community a
better place. |
