| LINDA SOLLBERGER began her career with the
City of Akron on February 4, 1991 as a Computer Programmer Analyst I with the Fire
Division. She transferred to MIS in 1993 and continued to work with Fire. LINDA
graduated from the University of Akron with a BA in elementary education and an associate
degree in data processing. LINDA resides in North Hill with her cat Kelley. She is a boat
owner and loves water skiing, traveling, and gardening and is a Cleveland Indians fan.
LINDA is a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. |

As computer systems change, LINDA is faced with keeping and
manipulating fire data that the new systems do not address. LINDA has written several
Access databases to accomplish this — one to keep fire reporting information and the
other to manipulate overtime data to comply with union agreements. She has also written
many reports used daily to supplement the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.LINDA is very quiet and even-tempered and possesses good judgment
and excellent work habits. She is an outstanding instructor. She often works beyond her
scheduled work hours to complete projects on her own time. LINDA never complains and takes
great pride in her work. |
