KIM HERRON began her career with the City of Akron on June 24, 1987 as a Clerical Intern. On June 26, 1989 she became full time. On November 18, 1991 KIM was promoted to her present position of Account Clerk II.

KIM and her husband Greg have three children, Jeremy, Amanda and Kayla. KIM enjoys reading, crocheting, redecorating her home and spending time with her family.

KIM has worked for the Public Utilities Bureau, Taxation, Accounting and Purchasing. She is the first person to greet you with a smile when you visit Purchasing. KIM is responsible for entering numerous purchase orders received in Purchasing. She is also the person responsible for preparing the purchase orders that go on the Board of Control agenda. KIM disburses petty cash, handles accident reports, files and helps with Banner training.

KIM is very helpful to everyone whether in person or over the phone. She has a pleasant personality and a good rapport with her co-workers. KIM is hard working and highly conscientious. She is a great asset to the Department of Finance and the City of Akron.
