| JOHN FALASCA began his career with the City of
Akron on December 26, 1990 as a Clerk Typist I. He was promoted on August 26, 1991 to an
Account Clerk I. JOHN was again promoted August 3, 1993 to a Stores Clerk. On October 28,
2002 JOHN attained his present position of BUYER I. JOHN graduated from the University
of Akron in 1989 with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in business. JOHN enjoys gardening and
landscaping, wine making, Italian cooking, playing the accordion, keyboards and vocals in
"The Viva Italia Band". He also enjoys walking, hiking, exercising, traveling,
and spending time with his nephews, Gino and Ross. JOHN participates in the Carovillese
Club where he has been nominated vice-president for 2003.
JOHN is responsible for all copying needs of City of Akron departments and divisions.
As part of his job, JOHN was trained on a very technical copying machine. He also helps
out in the Storeroom by filling storeroom orders and helps in the mailroom, making sure
the mail is out in a timely manner. |

JOHN does all of his work responsibly, no matter what the job. He works with the various
divisions to insure that the copy needs are met in a timely and error-free manner. JOHN is
very conscientious and treats all City of Akron employees respectfully. JOHN is an exceptional employee that does an excellent job. He is
very dependable and self-motivated. JOHN is well liked and respected by his co-workers.
Everyone who has contact with JOHN appreciates his professionalism and optimistic
attitude. JOHN is truly an asset to the Purchasing Division and the City of Akron. |
