PATTY TRUDICS
began her career in June 1977 as a high school intern in the Service Directors
Office. She has also worked in the Mayors Office, Purchasing Department, Water
Department, and the Compost Facility.
PATTY and her husband Mark have a daughter, Stephanie. They
enjoy vacationing in unique places, traveling to a new and different place each time.
PATTY also enjoys shopping in Pittsburgh, reading biographies, and collecting vintage
Night Before Christmas books.
PATTY possesses vast knowledge of City operations and
personnel, which enables her to respond confidently to inquiries and assignments.
PATTY currently works in the Construction Division of the
Engineering Bureau. She handles a great volume of calls from both the public and other
city divisions. Her organizational skills allow her supervisors to improve efficiency and
more easily perform their own work. She exhibits exceptional technical skill with each
document she types and files, finding and correcting errors. PATTY is meticulous about
keeping all construction forms, reports, and files up to date. She additionally acts as
radio dispatcher, fielding radio calls during the course of her duties. PATTYS
reputation as a "go to" person is well known. Contractors, consultants, other
city workers, even retirees and former employees call PATTY for a variety of governmental
needs because they have confidence she will help them. PATTY takes her role in the
Engineering Bureau seriously.
