This project required all of the work to begin in January 1999 and to be completed by May
1, 1999. He worked with a scheduling consultant to generate a schedule before the work
began and had it updated weekly to assist in monitoring progress on the project. He worked

being followed, and to confirm that the project would finish on time. |
Two days before the May 1 deadline, it was requested that the infield be flattened. This
required the construction of a concrete retaining wall and the removal of 260 tons of
infield material. Jim stayed through the night until the job was done.
JIM was required to coordinate the construction with the demolition
contractor, field lighting contractor, general trades contractor, HVAC/plumbing
contractor, electrical contractor, fencing contractor, and the painting contractor.
Coordination was also required with various City of Akron offices, Summit County Softball
Hall of Fame and the Akron Racers.
